OVERVIEW & Specification
The Finisar FTLF8529P3BNV-E5 is a hot-pluggable SFP+ transceiver designed for use in Fibre Channel links with a maximum data rate of 14.025 Gb/s. This module supports tri-rate applications at 4.25, 8.5, and 14.025 Gb/s over multimode fiber. It features a built-in CDR (Clock and Data Recovery) with a shut-off control and an 850nm Oxide VCSEL laser transmitter. The transceiver is RoHS compliant and has a metal enclosure for lower EMI. It can achieve a maximum link length of 100m on high-bandwidth OM3 MMF and operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 85°C. The module is compliant with FC-PI-5, SFF-8472, and SFF-8081h.
