Cisco Linksys MFEFX1 100BASE-FX SFP mini GBIC transceiver

The Cisco MFEFX1, a 100BASE-FX Mini-GBIC SFP Transceiver, is compatible with a range of Cisco switch models, each with specific minimum software release requirements. Supported models include the SPS208G, SPS224G4, and SPS2024, all requiring software version 1.0.2. Several SRW series switches are also compatible, such as the SRW208G, SRW208L, SRW208P, SRW208MP, SRW2008, SRW2008P, and SRW2008MP, each needing at least software version 1.0.3. Additionally, the SRW224G4 and SRW248G4 require version 1.2.2, while the SRW224G4P and SRW248G4P need 1.0.1. The SRW2024P is compatible with software version 1.0.3

Beyond the SRW series, the MFEFX1 works with certain SFE and SGE models: the SFE2010 and SFE2010P both require software version 2.0.1.80, and the SGE2010 and SGE2010P need version 2.0.1.75. A variety of SLM switches are also supported, including SLM224G2-CN (1.0.2), SLM224G (1.0.1), SLM248G (1.0.1), SLM224P (1.0.1), SLM248Pb (1.0.1), SLM2024 (1.0.1), and SLM2048 (1.0.1). The SLM224G4S, SLM224G4PS, SLM248G4S, and SLM248G4PS are compatible with software version 1.0.2.

However, the MFEFX1 is not supported by several switch models, including the SR224G, SR2024C, SR2024, SRW2016 , SRW2024, SRW2048, SRW224P, SFE2000, SFE2000P, SGE2000, and SGE2000P.
