The Finisar FTLF1621P1BCL is a hot-pluggable SFP transceiver that supports bi-directional data links up to 2.67 Gb/s. This versatile module is designed for SONET OC-48 LR-2/SDH STM L-16.2, as well as Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel applications. It features an uncooled 1550nm DFB laser transmitter and an APD receiver, allowing it to achieve a maximum link length of up to 80 km over single-mode fiber. The transceiver operates within an extended temperature range of -10°C to 70°C, has low power dissipation (typically <700mW), and is RoHS compliant. Digital diagnostic functions are available via a 2-wire serial bus, as specified in the SFP MSA.
